Meg Mackay and Billy Philadelphia have been performing together for over 25 years. Their new show Young and Foolish is a collection of songs from their younger days, music from the 1960s and 1970s that inspired them as performers including “Alfie,” “Both Sides Now,” “Natural Woman,” and “People.”

Meg and Billy are two of San Francisco’s brightest and most talented performers. Together they offer an intimate, witty and memorable musical showcase that delights audiences and critics alike. Meg is often seen starring in Bay Area musical theatre productions. Recent shows include Hello Dolly! (Mountain Play), Gypsy (Theatre Works) the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Guys and Dolls (Pacific Alliance Stage Company) Dear World, Call Me Madam (42nd Street Moon) She is also a veteran of the long running San Francisco hit musical revue Beach Blanket Babylon. Her cabaret performances in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco received rave reviews. Meg has recorded two CDs So Many People and Legally Blonde both of which were arranged and produced by her performing partner and husband Billy Philadelphia.

Billy Philadelphia has been playing and performing in the Bay Area for over 30 years. This versatile pianist and energetic performer accompanied the incomparable Dame Edna in her hit show The Royal Tour at Theatre on the Square. His production of Hoagy, a personal tribute to legendary songwriter Hoagy Carmichael has successful runs in Miami, Milwaukee and San Francisco. He has recorded a CD of Carmichael tunes, Hoagy & Me. Billy has been a Musical Director for San Jose Rep, Marin Theatre Company, Aurora Theatre as well as several Bay Area television shows AM San Francisco, SFO, Good Time Café as well as The Man About Town for KNBR radio.
